Operations Committee Chair
Rich Faller - Ex officio member
Rich Faller joined the Safe Harbor management team as Chair of the Operations Committee in September 2022. He oversees the various committees that make up the Safe Harbor team and fosters an open environment that he describes as a committee of equals. Rich began volunteering at Safe Harbor in 2018 to try to make a difference in the lives of the homeless, only to discover they have made a difference in his life.
A practicing physician who worked at the Emergency Department at Munson Medical Center for 29 years and now doing Wound Care, Rich attends the Unitarian Universalist Church of Grand Traverse, where he is a volunteer coordinator for their Safe Harbor outreach.
Rich has 3 children and lives with his wife Barbara in Traverse City.
