As a Safe Harbor staff member from 2017-2024, Lisa Woodcox grew even more dedicated to helping the underserved in our community.

 

Lisa has seen the ins and outs of Safe Harbor operations and brings to her board position first-hand experience coming alongside shelter guests.

 

Lisa holds a Masters of Social Work degree and works for Northern Lakes CMH where she's held a variety of roles over the past 11 years. She currently serves as the team lead for the IDD adult team. She hopes to put her mental health experience as well as her knowledge of behavioral health systems to good use as a member of the board. 

 

Lisa enjoys spending time with her partner Jeff and being in nature — this includes fishing, camping, and snowmobiling. Lisa is a native of Traverse City and she has two wonderful children, a daughter-in-law and a grandson.
