Board term: 2021 - 2024

Donna Olendorf joined the Board in after working as a Safe Harbor volunteer for eight years, first as a Coordinator for Grace Episcopal Church and then as a Community Volunteer. She is Chair of the Communications Committee and became Vice Chair of the Board in July 2023. 

An editor and project manager with a lifelong interest in education, Donna has a degree in Library Science from the University of Michigan School of Information. She has worked in publishing, school libraries, and Christian Education.  Recently retired, she remains interested in the collaborative development of technology to answer questions and solve problems of daily life.  She hopes to create a sense of community in which people help one another develop faith and values.

Donna relocated to Traverse City with her husband Donald in 2010. They have three grown children and six grandchildren.
