Brad Gerlach - Ex officio member
Brad Gerlach joined the Safe Harbor staff as a seasonal Volunteer Manager in September 2020. He was promoted to a full-time position as Operations Manager in January 2021. His job is to support the Safe Harbor committees in their work and to manage day-to-day operations at the shelter, including Volunteers, Goodwill, and Communications.
Brad has an extensive background in non-profit leadership and has worked for the Grand Traverse Regional Conservancy and PATH (Welfare to Work). He earned his BA from Wake Forest University and his MA from University of Toledo/University of Wisconsin, both in History.
Brad is a longtime resident and lives in the area with his wife and family.
